Waveland - George D. Loman, 81 of Rt 1, Waveland died Sunday night in Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. A retired farmer, he was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and Brown Township Farm Bureau and 50-year-member of Waveland Masonic Lodge 300. He was a graduate of Waveland HS. Born Aug 6, 1883 in Tippecanoe County, he was a son of George H. and Mantie Brown Loman. He was married to Mayme Canine Nov 30, 1916 near New Market. She died in 1972. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John (Helen Jean) Patton of Waveland and Mrs. George (Geraldine) Stauffer of New Castle, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz
